The Human Resources team is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic co-op student to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Based in our downtown Toronto office, you will support the Human Resources team in delivering services to our regional teams across Canada. In this role, you will assist with a variety of HR functions that contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations of the department. Responsibilities will include contributing to special ad hoc projects as needed, administrative support, and help with coordination of HR engagement activities. What you'll be doing The HR Co-op student will contribute to key projects during their placement, including: supporting a document scanning and digital conversion initiative as part of broader Data Governance efforts. assisting with updates and enhancements to tools related to the seating plan and SharePoint site, in support of Health and Safety initiatives. Provide administrative and operational support across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, and employee engagement. Assist with research tasks and contribute ideas and insights to enhance HR services. What you'll need to have Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of SharePoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment. Ability to work from our downtown Toronto office 5 days a week.
