Job ID: 26-21532 Job Title: Trainer- Senior Location: Edmonton, AB (Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension) Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $60 -$80 per hour
Must have: Education Candidates must possess either: A University degree in a related field such as: Adult Education Instructional Design Business Administration Learning & Development Organizational Development Or a related discipline AND a minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible related experience OR A Diploma in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible related experience Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered: 1 year of education may be substituted for 1 year of experience. 1 year of experience may be substituted for 1 year of education.
Required Soft Skills Candidates must demonstrate: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders and teams. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Required Experience Training Needs Analysis & Competency Development Minimum 4 years of experience conducting training needs assessments and developing competency frameworks. Learning Content Development Minimum 6 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering training materials, including: Instructor-led training Online learning content Computer-based training modules Training videos Curriculum Design Minimum 4 years of experience leading curriculum design projects from planning through implementation. Adult Learning Principles Minimum 4 years of experience applying adult learning methodologies and instructional design principles. Learning & Development Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Learning & Development (L&D).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications Training Technology & Tools Minimum 4 years of experience using: MS Office Suite (advanced level) Learning Management Systems (LMS) Training development software Template creation and management Training Evaluation Minimum 4 years of experience with: Formative evaluations Summative evaluations Training effectiveness assessments Training Plans Minimum 4 years of experience developing and implementing training plans. eLearning Development Tools Minimum 4 years of experience creating training content using: Adobe Captivate Articulate Storyline Equivalent authoring tools Digital Adoption Platforms Minimum 4 years of experience with Digital Adoption Tools such as: WalkMe Similar in-application guidance platforms SAP Knowledge Working knowledge or experience with SAP applications is considered an asset.
