Role Description The Human Resources Business Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in Brantford, ON. This role is responsible for supporting leaders and employees across the organization in all core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation. Day-to-day tasks include advising management on HR best practices, handling employee inquiries and concerns, supporting recruitment and onboarding activities, and collaborating on training and development initiatives. The Human Resources Business Partner will also help ensure compliance with labor and employment laws, contribute to HR process improvements, and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values. Qualifications Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with experience implementing and maintaining compliant HR practices. Proficiency in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and supporting engagement and retention initiatives. Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to interpret regulations and advise on compliant HR decisions. Experience with Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and performance review cycles. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and use sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with HRIS systems and basic data analysis for HR metrics and reporting is an asset. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR designation (e.g., CHRP/CHRL) is an asset.
