Specific Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the following main responsibilities:
Perform payroll data verification in the Workforce system; Act as a resource person for all payroll-related questions; Manage TSNB (WorkSafe New Brunswick) files as well as disability files; Follow up on labor relations files, including the interpretation and application of the collective agreement; Be an active member of various parity committees; Support and advise the 1st level managers of the plant; Manage the selection, hiring and onboarding of new unionized employees; Managing foreign worker files; Perform any other related tasks.
Requirements
Education: DEC in accounting, human resources or equivalent, an asset; Experience: No specific experience required, the employee will be trained on site; Skills: Mastery of the office suite, good interpersonal skills, organizational, meticulous and rigorous, autonomous and having the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Abilities
Demonstrates strong communication, leadership, management and team mobilization skills; Demonstrates planning and organizational skills; Demonstrates skills in managing priorities and emergencies; Demonstrates dynamism and professionalism; Is available; Demonstrates flexibility and versatility; Has a sense of coordination, initiative and autonomy; Is functionally bilingual (French and English) both orally and in writing.
