About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Capability & Quality Lead to reimagine and modernise how our people learn, perform and deliver for Members. This is a pivotal opportunity to set the direction for capability development and quality across Member Services by introducing modern adult learning practices, building scalable blended learning solutions, and using data and insight to lift productivity, consistency and outcomes for both Members and employees. You'll challenge traditional, manual ways of working and build practical, future-focused approaches that support learning in the flow of work.

Lead the strategy and ongoing development of our capability and quality functions, acting as subject matter expert for adult learning, instructional design, coaching and quality assurance Reimagine learning, onboarding and quality approaches, designing blended solutions that combine self-directed online learning, practical application, coaching and facilitated development Define and maintain capability and quality standards that improve consistency and support sound judgement across the team Analyse quality, performance and employee data to identify trends, root causes and emerging priorities, and turn insight into practical action Lead and develop specialist teams across learning and development, onboarding and quality assurance Partner with leaders across Member Services to identify capability gaps, quality risks and performance opportunities, and support the business through change

About You

Strong leadership experience, with the ability to coach, challenge and develop high-performing specialist teams Experience modernising or transforming learning, capability or quality functions Strong instructional design experience, including digital and self-directed learning A sound understanding of modern adult learning principles and how people build and retain capability Deep expertise in learning, capability development, coaching, onboarding or quality assurance The confidence to set standards, challenge traditional approaches and influence senior stakeholders The ability to identify themes and trends from data, quality results and operational performance A creative and curious mindset, with the ability to translate emerging practices into practical solutions Experience using learning technologies or learning management platforms to improve access and engagement A continuous improvement mindset focused on measurable improvements in productivity, quality and Member and employee outcomes
