Product Manager - Workday Security & Access Governance, Brampton, ON We are seeking a Workday Security Product Manager to lead the team responsible for Workday authentication, access controls, security configuration, and tenant governance. In this role, you will manage Workday Security as an internal enterprise product. You will set its roadmap, prioritize the team’s work, oversee delivery, and maintain operational readiness across production and non-production environments. You will work with Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management, Audit, and enterprise project teams to deliver secure and well-governed Workday solutions. What You’ll Do: Set and maintain the Workday Security product roadmap and backlog, or prioritized list of work, balancing operational needs, enterprise projects, audit requirements, risk remediation, and Workday releases. Lead the design, configuration, and governance of Workday authentication and access controls, including security groups, roles, Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security Policies, privileged access, and segregation of duties. Provide Workday Security leadership for enterprise projects and platform changes, ensuring security requirements are configured, tested, documented, approved, and transitioned into ongoing operations. Govern production and non-production tenants, including tenant access, refresh readiness, change controls, testing coordination, audit evidence, planned outage activities, stakeholder communications, and post-event validation. Lead and develop the Workday Security team, including goal setting, workload and capacity planning, performance management, coaching, and career development. What you Bring: Experience leading Workday Security in a large or complex enterprise environment, including Workday’s configurable security framework, authentication, access controls, and tenant governance. Experience managing and developing a technical or enterprise applications team, including work allocation, capacity planning, performance management, and career development. Product management or product ownership experience, including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, release planning, stakeholder engagement, and communicating delivery decisions. Experience with Workday security groups, role assignments, Domain and Business Process Security Policies, privileged access, segregation of duties, security reporting, and access reviews. The ability to explain security decisions, risks, priorities, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical partners during projects, audits, incidents, and platform changes. Preferred Skills Workday Pro Security, Workday Platform Administrator, or another relevant Workday certification. Experience using Kainos Smart Test and Kainos Smart Audit for Workday testing, controls monitoring, or audit support. Experience supporting Workday in a regulated or audit-focused enterprise environment. Knowledge of privacy, access-control and compliance requirements. Relevant experience may have been gained through enterprise operations, consulting, Workday implementations, or comparable work. Candidates do not need to meet every preferred qualification to apply.
