About This Role
Reporting to the Global Head of Finance, the Global Manager, Finance – North America plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of Bureau’s Canadian and U.S. entities. This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance across jurisdictions, and partnering closely with internal teams to support the company’s continued growth.
This position offers broad exposure across accounting, financial analysis, compliance, and operational finance. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales and Operations leaders while helping build scalable financial processes as the business grows.
Responsibilities Include
Managing month-end close for U.S. and Canadian entities, including accruals, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations Supporting North American tax compliance including sales tax, HST, and U.S. state nexus requirements in collaboration with external advisors Preparing cash flow forecasts and supporting regional treasury management Delivering financial reporting and P&L analysis to support decision-making for the CFO and leadership team Identifying opportunities to improve legacy finance processes and implementing scalable workflows Providing day-to-day finance support to Sales and Operations teams
About The Candidate
The ideal candidate is a CPA candidate or recently qualified CPA with approximately 3-4 years of experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or smaller public accounting environment where they have had broad exposure, worked resourcefully, and taken on meaningful responsibility early in their career.
They bring a strong technical foundation in financial reporting and accounting principles, combined with the ability to operate independently and partner effectively with business leaders. Equally comfortable working in detail and communicating the broader financial story, the successful candidate demonstrates sound judgment, strong analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
Strong understanding of ASPE and IFRS, with exposure to U.S. GAAP, is considered an asset.
This is a hybrid position based in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver, with employees expected to work three days per week in-office.

Compensation & Benefits
This role comes with a competitive base salary in the range of CAD $90,000–100,000, along with extended health and dental benefits, 3 weeks of paid vacation + birthday off, one week of sick pay, 4 weeks remote days, and a health or wellness spending account.
