Human Resources & Office Manager Job Type: Permanent Pay Rate/Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 CAD/year Location: Calgary, AB

Your New Role Reporting to senior leadership, the Human Resources & Office Manager will lead the Human Resources and Corporate Services functions while serving as a key member of the operational leadership team. This role combines strategic HR leadership overseeing office management responsibilities, leading recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy development, workplace compliance, and daily office operations. You will also provide leadership and coaching to administrative staff while helping drive organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Need to Do Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities. Provide guidance to leaders and employees on HR policies, employment legislation, and workplace best practices. Manage employee relations matters, performance management processes, investigations, and conflict resolution. Oversee employee records, HR systems, benefits administration, and compliance requirements. Supervise office operations, facilities, vendors, service contracts, and administrative processes. Coach and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Support organizational planning, process improvements, and operational initiatives. Manage administrative budgets and contribute to overall business operations.
What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CPHR designation (or equivalent) is considered an asset. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Office Management. Previous supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices, and workplace policies. Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, coaching, and training. Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience managing budgets, vendors, facilities, and administrative operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization. High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
