About the role

*Position Status: *Permanent Full-Time

*Hours of Work: *Monday ? Friday,35 hours/week (occasional evenings or weekends as needed)

Starting Salary: $29.20 per hour (in accordance with organizational salary grid; annual increases as per grid progression)

Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative support for day-to-day HR operations across the organization, including employee records management, onboarding coordination, compliance tracking, HR systems administration, and employee documentation processes. Working closely with the Human Resources team and internal departments, this role supports efficient and consistent HR practices while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy. The Human Resources Administrator also assists with onboarding, employee file management, compliance related tracking, HR communications, and administrative support to help ensure smooth and effective human resource operations across the organization.

Qualifications & SKILLS:

  1. Education & Certificates

· Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Commitment to ongoing professional development is considered an asset

· A satisfactory current Criminal and Judicial Matters Check (CPIC Level 2) will be required upon hire and in accordance with organizational policy

· Valid Ontario ?G? driver?s license and access to a reliable vehicle is considered an asset

2. Experience

· Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of experience in human resources administration, office administration, or a related administrative role is preferred

· Experience maintaining employee records, documentation systems, and administrative tracking processes is considered an asset

· Experience working with HRIS, payroll systems, or electronic records management systems is considered an asset

· Experience supporting compliance related documentation or administrative processes is considered an asset

· Experience working within a nonprofit, child care, education, or community services environment is considered an asset

3. Skills

· Ability to work fluently, orally and in writing, in both official languages, French and English (required)

· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple administrative priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to respond professionally to employee inquiries and support internal HR administrative processes

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and organizational information with discretion and professionalism

· Ability to maintain organized records, documentation systems, and administrative tracking processes
