About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support payroll, employee records, benefits, and workplace training across our organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining employee data integrity, delivering essential workplace training, and supporting a safe, compliant, and well-prepared workforce.
This is a permanent part time position (16-24 hours a week). This position is ideal for someone looking for steady, professional work without a full time schedule; whether you value flexibility, are balancing other commitments, or simply prefer a reduced workweek.
What You?ll Do
- Prepare and reconcile bi-monthly payroll
- Maintain accurate employee records and payroll profiles
- Administer employee benefits and reconcile invoices
- Deliver and coordinate employee training, including emergency procedures and ERP, occupational Health & Safety, Joint Health & Safety Committee training and First Aid.
- Track certifications and training compliance
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration
- Respond to employee payroll, benefits, and training inquiries
What You Bring
- Experience in payroll, HR administration, training coordination, or people operations
- Comfort delivering training to groups of employees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience with payroll systems (Dayforce an asset)
